Community for pastors’ kids
Pastors’ kids face unique relational and spiritual challenges.
They deserve a community uniquely for them.
A place to be honest about the good and the bad.
A space to be welcomed and to wrestle.
A community that understands their story.
It is definitely not like being a regular kid. That is why we think you need a place of your own. A community of your own where you can be with others who know what it’s like to be a PK. A place to celebrate what is beautiful and be frustrated together over the moments that are hard. A community where you get to be known for who you are, not who your parents are. A community where you can share what you’re thinking and feeling without wondering who else will find out. A community to wrestle with life, and faith, and friendship. A place to be you.
For the 2025-2026 school year, the Central District of the Foursquare Church is partnering with Church Well Co (CWC) to create communities specifically designed for high-school age PKs. These PK communities will be intentionally small (6-8 PKs per community) and will meet monthly over zoom. Each group will have a CWC trained Guide to welcome them into the community and help the conversation and friendship grow. While the Guide has some ideas of how they will facilitate your community that we think you will find meaningful, each PK community will have freedom to modify how they engage based on the needs of the PKs involved.
If you are a PK, or you are the parent of a PK, or you know a PK, we would love to invite you to become part of our community.
Being a PK can be great.
And it can be terrible.
