Everyone needs a place to grow into who they are becoming.

What’s Included

Community.

Serving others takes a toll. For many therapists, coaches, and pastoral counselors there develops a form of isolation that is particular to the work that we do. We sit with others, sharing the weight of their stories, supporting them as they grow. Yet often we ourselves lack a community to be supported by, to grow with, and to process through life and professional experiences with.

ChurchWell Collective is not a group practice. Every member of the ChurchWell Collective is an independently practicing professional. We are a community for professionals.

We are a supportive community. We have resources and experience to support each member identify their own needs for growth and support them in it. We are a learning community. Together we explore concepts, issues, practices, and ways to think more deeply about the work that we do. We are a personal community. Professional growth is vital, but so is our own humanness. Because of this our Community Coffee Hour orients around each of us as humans. What we are carrying. Where we are. What we are celebrating. What we are mourning. We exist to be a community that supports the sustainability and growth of those serving others.

Community Coffee Hour takes place over Zoom on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at 10am CST.

Professional Consultation.

Some of the best learning happens in community. Others can help us recognize our blind-spots, identify new tools, and provide reassurance amidst challenging situations. For professionals working with Christians and the Church, there is a beautiful complexity to the integration of mind, body, and spirit that often benefits from processing with others of a similar paradigm.

We are interdisciplinary in approach. We believe that there is great value in each of the ways therapists, coaches, and pastoral counselors work (and hope to add spiritual directors to the community in the near future). While each approach is distinct, we believe that there is value to both intra-disciplinary consultation and cross-disciplinary consultation. It is our intent to provide access to both. Wholeness is our goal. We believe that we come alongside individuals and organizations to help them heal, revive, and step into the fullness and wholeness of life that Jesus came to bring. We are creative in practice. We are constantly growing, changing, learning. Our world consistently shifts under our feet. Culture and expressions change over time. We strive to engage the present and the future in ways that are most useful for growth, health, and wholeness.

Professional Consultation Hour takes place over Zoom on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 10am CST.

Collaboration.

ChurchWell Collective does not stop with community and consultation. Relationships are not limited to the hours we spent together collectively. We hope to be a landing place, a home of sorts, for Christian helping professionals to find and develop relationship with one another that leads to friendship, collaboration, and creative pathways to serving the Church.

As practitioners working with the Church, it can often be a challenge to know who else to refer clients to when we are unable to work with them (due to limitations of licensure or availability, etc.). In creating a community of practitioners growing and learning together, we will also create a trusted referral network to increase our ability to connect others to the care they need. Each ChurchWell Collective member is listed on the ChurchWell website as a ChurchWell Preferred Provider.

Because we are not a group practice, but a community space, we do not take any ownership of business opportunities, collaborations, or engagements that might emerge through relationships between members in the community. Grow into who you are becoming with others. And step into that however it is right for you.
